Issue is still occurring on this. Running version 97211. I’m short 4 of the 20 required to finish the quest.
A few things on this.

  • It might be better to have 10 or 20% more mobs spawn than are required to finish the quest.
  • This seems to happen on a lot of different main story quests and the map generated quest instances.
  • Even running laps and hugging all the features and running near all the holes in the maps doesn’t make things spawn either. IMO this is an overused tool in this game so far. It feels like 40-60% of mobs are spawning this way instead of being on the map to begin with. It’s fine here and there and really cool when there’s big swarms of things. In those cases it feels like a proper ambush but it’s overutilized at the moment and I honestly think it’s playing into these quests being bugged as whatever trigger event that causes the missing groups of adds to spawn just isn’t triggering.

Solved. Works, just had to reenter the Chop shop as there were not enough required monsters in an instance after a full clear of the map.
